THERAPY YOU CAN FEEL

Our team offers diverse clinical skills to help you accomplish your personal mental health goals. We use an embodied care approach to help you to assess several life domains that could benefit from intentional care and support.

Therapy for Body Image

The mind-body relationship is a powerful one. How you feel about your body is connected to how you feel about yourself. Body dissatisfaction is complex and can take time to uproot harmful and toxic messages internalized as beliefs.

We use our signature approach, Embodied Care, to bring awareness to the source of your body dissatisfaction, address your issues, and foster a healthier relationship with your body where you feel safe, confident, loved, and worthy.

Body image therapy often results in a more positive self image, decreased body distress and social anxiety around your appearance, and an increase in health promoting behaviors.

EMDR Therapy

Our life experiences may lead us to feeling unsafe in our bodies and the world around us.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy is a a type of therapy that focuses directly on the memory, and is intended to change the way that the memory is stored in the brain and eliminating the painful symptoms associated with the memory.

There are increasing benefits to EMDR and one of the main benefits is it offers relief of your symptoms in a short amount of time.

Therapy for Women

We offer a Womanist, holistic approach to therapy to improve your mental and emotional wellness. Through this approach we use self-exploration and awareness to assess dysfunction and implement strategies to increase your ability to create harmony in and peace within yourself, in your relationships and in your life overall.
