Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor

Our Why:
Seeds of Healing Counseling is a trauma-informed, liberation-centered practice rooted in community and grounded in care. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Outpatient Therapist to join our collective.

Our work centers Black women and individuals whose identities intersect in ways that have experienced deep stress, burnout, and disconnection. We support clients in reconnecting with themselves through culturally responsive, body-centered, and ethically grounded care.

We are committed to creating a space where both clients and clinicians feel supported, valued, and empowered. As a collective, we prioritize autonomy, collaboration, and sustainable practice for our therapists while maintaining high standards of client care.

Position Details
Schedule: Part-time, flexible
Work Environment: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC) and Virtual
Caseload Expectation: Minimum of 10 sessions per week
Location: North Carolina

Requirements

• Independent or provisional LCSW/ LCSWA

• Provisionally licensed clinicians must have at least 1 year of post-licensure experience and be actively working under supervision

• Experience in private practice, group practice, or clinical internship settings

• Strong commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care

• Ability to work independently while engaging in a collaborative community of clinicians

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient therapy to individuals (with opportunity to support groups or other offerings based on interest)

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

• Uphold ethical standards and prioritize client safety and care

• Participate in the collective through visibility, contribution, and collaboration
