Meet Star – Trauma-Informed Therapist Supporting Healing Across Mind, Body, and Spirit
My philosophy of treatment is grounded in the belief that effective therapy is built on trust, consistency, and meaningful connection. I approach each client as a whole person whose experiences, environment, and relationships shape their mental health. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I work with clients to identify clear goals, develop practical skills, and create sustainable change in their lives.
My clinical work is rooted in trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive care. I integrate evidence-based interventions with holistic and somatic-informed approaches to support emotional regulation, nervous system stability, and long-term well-being. I believe that healing is not just about insight, but about learning how to feel safe in one’s body, regulate emotions, and make empowered choices in daily life.
I provide a structured yet flexible therapeutic environment where clients are supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow. I prioritize emotional safety while also helping clients build accountability, self-awareness, and confidence. Treatment is individualized, intentional, and guided by each client’s values, goals, and readiness for change.
My role as a therapist is to offer steady support, honest reflection, and reliable tools that clients can carry with them beyond the therapy room. I am committed to helping individuals develop resilience, strengthen their sense of identity, and move forward with clarity, self-trust, and purpose.

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and somatic-based practices to support both emotional insight and nervous system regulation. Together, we explore how thought patterns, emotional responses, and body-based signals interact, helping you develop practical tools to manage stress, process experiences, and feel more grounded in daily life. Sessions are collaborative, paced with care, and centered on helping you build awareness, resilience, and lasting change.

My practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on safety, empowerment, and understanding the impact of trauma. When appropriate, I also incorporate holistic and spiritually informed approaches, always guided by the client’s values and preferences.

Clients can expect a supportive, collaborative session that begins with a brief check-in to understand what they’re experiencing and what they’d like to focus on. Sessions are paced at the client’s comfort level and may include reflection, skill-building, and practical coping strategies to support emotional regulation, insight, and progress between sessions.
-
I build rapport by showing up with consistency, authenticity, and respect, and by meeting clients where they are without judgment. I prioritize emotional safety by being transparent, collaborative, and attentive to each client’s comfort level, while creating a space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to move at their own pace.
